TRAINING COURSE IN EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

For Professionals

Are you preparing for your professional review? Then you may wish to upgrade your communication skills, especially in report/essay writing, facing interviews, making presentations etc.  Apart from these you may wish to enhance your skill of effectively participating in meetings and speaking in public. Course Duration :  Every Tuesday for five months, i.e. 19 days (from 0900 Hours to 1730 Hours) Target Group :  Engineers who are members of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka, employed in public and private sector organizations. Goal :  To develop the communication skills of the participants to communicate effectively and with grammatical accuracy in the English medium in their day to day work situations with confidence. Course Contents : Reading Comprehension and speech Grammar and Language Study Communication Techniques Effective Meetings Public speaking Report Writing Making Presentations Medium : English Methodology :  Lectures, Discussions, Workshops, Role-plays, Group Sessions, Presentations, Self-Evaluations etc. Evaluation :  Written and oral test in English, report and presentation by participants on a selected topic.
