Introduction:
The Centre for Housing Planning
and Building (CHPB) has organized to conduct a training course on Construction
Planning by using MS – Project software package for officers who are engaged in
management of Pre contract and Post contract phases of Construction Projects in
Public and Private sector organizations.
Aim:
To programme construction
activities in construction projects by using MS – Project and to review and
control the construction activities effectively and efficiently.
General
Objectives: At the end of the
training course the participants will be able to programme construction
activities in construction projects by using MS – Project and able to produce
Gantt Chart, Pert Chart, Resource diagrams for construction Materials, Labour,
Machinery, Cost and reports etc. In addition, they will be able to manage a
project in terms of time and cost.
Target Group:
Officers who are engaged in pre
contract and / or post contract phases of construction projects in Public and
Private sector organizations and having acceptable technical qualifications with
a minimum of two years work experience in construction field.
